Compellent Technologies, Inc, founded in 2002, was a
provider of enterprise computer data storage systems that automate data
movement at the block level. The company was headquartered in Eden Prairie,
Minnesota, USA. Compellent's chief product, Storage Center, is a storage area
network (SAN) system that combines a standards-based hardware platform and a
suite of virtualized storage management applications, including automated
tiered storage, thin provisioning and replication. The company developed
software and products aimed at mid-size enterprises and sold through a channel
network of independent providers and resellers.[1] It became part of Dell in
February 2011.

Steps to add new volume
Go to Enterprise Manager (Dell Compellent Client)
Enter the username, password & ip and click log in
Enterprise manager loading
Enterprise manager menu
Click storage tab then right click on volume then create new volume
Enter volume name
Enter volume size
Select replay profile or skip
Select the server and click next
Confirm Config and click finish
Check the mapping in Mapping tab
Go to server Disk management. Click action - rescan disk
wait for disk to rescan
2TB partition is mapped
Right click and click online
Right click initialize. Then choose GPT option click ok
Right click on volume select new simple volume --- click next
Enter the volume name and click next
Go to my computer to check the partition.
